Simple Breakfast ( Oats with Cinnamon)


 Well it's been a hectic week. I can't believe my schedule was extremely tight with no time left to blog but yeaaah! Today

i had to create time and do this. Sometimes it's crazy how time pass quiet fast especially to us mums and you left like Lord!

How did the time pass that quick? But that's life anyway.  So here i am ready to talk about one of my simplest breakfast.


 This is one of my favourite actually,  It's on top of my list and a great one to go with especially for those of us sometimes

time can't just bare with us during morning hours to prepare breakfast,  But you got no excuse whatsoever not to have a clean

and a healthy breakfast.  It takes less that 10 minutes to prepare and by the way comes in handy especially winter time.

So why winter?  Winter i prefer when my breakfast is warm unlike summer when you'll find i just soak the Oats and

have them cold. I would also say that this bowl of warm Oats and Cinnamon gives me that warmth feeling that my body feels

great and calm.

 This is one of the simplest recipe that you can make during mornings, So hereby are the ingredients you require.



2 glasses of Water

7 tablespoons of Rolled Oats

1 tsp of cinnamon

1/2 a glass of Soya milk( Or milk of your choice)

1 banana




Add the 2 glasses of water into a bowl and heat on a low medim heat,  After the water is quiet warm,  Add the Tablespoons of the

rolled Oats and let boil under low heat. Stir as much as you can to avoid burn. After boiling for about 5 minutes, The Oats should

be tender and by this time they should be ready. Switch off your heat and add the teaspoon of cinnamon.

Serve hot onto your bowl and add the half  glass of soya milk or the milk of your choice.  Then cut your banana and clean your blueberries, top them up

and your healthy breakfast is ready.

N/B I don't add any swettener but inacase you need sugar or honey, You can add the amount that you need.

I enjoy my Oats with cinnamon with no sugar. The oats will keep you full longer as well. They're high source of fiber while the blueberries do support digestion.

The blueberries are also the king of Antioxidant, low in calories and High in Nutrients.

Cinnamon is also one of the most delicious and healthiest spices on the planet.
